Memorial Day Weekend Adventure - Part 1

What better way to spend the Memorial Day weekend, then by being up north in San Francisco and Sacramento doing a white water rafting and camping trip! We left Thursday night after work and drove up to San Fran so we would have a whole day to spend down on Haight St. and could then chill out and watch the Lakers game later that night. On the way to Haight St. we picked up another friend of mine who I hadn't seen in a while, Gry aka Norman Luvs Kix, since he recently moved up to S.F. with his girlfriend to study Molecular Biology. It was a perfect day in SF and we made the most of the 3 or 4 hours we were there on Haight. Aside from eating at Cha Cha Cha's, a delicious Tapas Bar, we pretty much just wandered around and browsed the shops and laughed at all the hippies, burn-outs and sleaze bag bums offering to sell us various things. I also took a minute to check out all the crazy graffiti around the area and was blown away as usual. You gotta love SF! Afterwards we went home and watched the Lakers destroy San Antonio. Then we went to sleep at a decent hour since we had an early departure to drive over to Sacto and the American River to get our rafting and camping trip started off...
