HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!

Had to celebrate at one of my favorite taco joints in LA... Guisados in Boyle Heights!

This one is the chef's sampler... veggies, chicken and beef only...no pork or seafood!

And here we have a special Cinco De Mayo Chile Colorado taco using the owner/ chef's mother's recipe, made specially for me with chicken instead of Pork! Thanks dude! It was the shiz!

Happy Halloween!

This was probably one of the best Halloween's of all time. I finally got my membership package from the Gallagher Fan Club and inside it was a personal Halloween greeting! How awesome is that!?!?!

We Got The Wedding Venue Locked In

After a few months of indecision we finally got the most important hurdle out of the way and chose a venue. We're pretty stoked on it...

Jazz The Glass Premiere Party

Tonight I saw the most awesome surf movie of all time... JAZZ THE GLASS. It's the story of some Surf Pirates and their quest to mine the Stoke, rid the world of Kooks, keep their surf spots secret, make as many ridiculous booze and grogan references as possible, all while shredding the waves and Jazzing The Glass. A buddy of mine, Mike "Kobok" Black was one of the geniuses behind the film, and lucky for me I got invited to the premiere party.

More Quantic Party Pics AKA Peace In Iraq

So at that Quantic record release party we were at on the 4th of July, they had a little free photo booth. The catch was that you had to hold up the "Peace In Iraq" sign, which was fine by me. Anyways I finally found the photos online... YIKES! Someone needs to remind me to NEVER take photos again after pigging out heavily on some BBQ and Beers. I look like a fat deer in the headlights. Oh well. A free pic is a free pic I guess...

Lakers Victory Parade 2009

Since we weren't able to make any of the 3 Victory Parades when the Lakers "3-Peated" earlier this decade, there was no way in Hell we were going to miss this one! After the Lakers won the title in 5 games on the road, it still hadn't rally sunk in that they won it all... well that is... until this morning. Eventually after fighting traffic we got to Figueroa and Chick Hearn Ct. which is basically the corner the Staples Center sits on. We found a spot with "unobstructed views" and waited for the Parade to begin. Let me just say it was madness once it did! One by one the players came out of Staples and boarded the trolleys with the cheers getting louder and louder... when Kobe finally came out the place just went bananas! Around 11:15 the trolleys rolled out and it was a good 30 minutes of celebrating and partying in the streets until they had passed us by. What a great way to spend the morning!

Laker's Playoffs 2009 - The Home Opener

Just got back from the first Lakers game of the 2009 NBA Playoffs, and as was expected the Lakers schooled the Jazz. To be honest, it was never much of a ballgame as the Lakers pretty much led from start to finish and had a 22 point lead at halftime. Im sure if you're a Lakers fan you know all the details, so to make a long story short, we drank some extremely overpriced beers ate some McDonalds, watched the Lakers dominate, and then called it an afternoon. Needless to say we had a blast!
