In my opinion, aside from Animal Chin, this is the quintessential 1980's skateboard movie. Starring Josh Brolin as the valley boy Corey Webster, Thrashin' is pure 80's skateboarding madness... Whether its freestyling in front of crowds at Venice Beach, skating vert on secret backyard ramps, shredding concrete bowls, bombing hills, or just plain street skating 1980's style, this movie has it all. I've probably seen this film 100 times or more, and it NEVER gets old.
