THE BIKING HOME PLAN.... A SUCCESS

So last night for either the 3rd or 4th time, I rode my bike (with my new tires and bigger chain ring) home from work. I started out last week to see if it was possible to do this multiple nights a week, and now I am positive it is. Anyways, despite a few minor technical setbacks on last nights ride, (which will hopefully never happen again since I'm always going to bring my tools) I got home safe and sound, and even got to see some cool stunt car driving in Chinatown (they were filming for Fast and The Furious 4).

13 Down, 3 To Go

Thank God the Lakers won last night, in what turned out to be an offensive struggle for both teams. Lamar and Pau didn't show up and neither did Pierce or KG. Lets hope on Thursday the Laker's offense will be firing on all cylinders. Massive props to the Machine for stepping up HUGE last night and scoring the most besides Kobe! Kobe, as usual, was phenomenal.

Graffiti With A Message

Saw this on the way to work today under a bridge on the 110 South right before Chinatown. I'm glad to see some writers out there are supporting the team!

THE MOST BULLSHIT GAME IN NBA HISTORY

If any of you were unlucky enough to watch the worst officiated NBA Finals Game in the history of the NBA tonight, as I was, then I'm sure you wanted to smash in your TV set, and lay waste to any Boston related item you could get your hands on. I'm sure I speak for all Lakers fans, and true fans of the NBA when I say, "That game was fucking bullshit!" When some loser Leon Powe gets more free throws in 14 minutes, than your entire team does for the game, then you know its going to be impossible to win. I'm too pissed off to continue talking about it anymore, but I will say one last thing. IT AIN'T OVER YET! The Lakers will sweep the 3 at home and win one in Boston to take the Title. That's right. I still believe!

The Prom 12 Years Later

Tonight my Girlfriend and I went to the prom! The Prom? you say? Yes, I say... The Prom. But Wait! Before you get the wrong idea, No, I am not some 29 year old loser who is dating a highschool chick! Nor am I some guy who is all into going to dances and formal affairs and all that. I'm just a regular guy whose girlfriend happens to be a high school administrator, and since she was obligated to work the event, I decided to tag along. I wanted to show her some support since most of the other administrators significant others would be in attendance, and more importantly, to chow down on some free catered food... (Just Kidding) Anyways, the night ended up being pretty fun... We just stood around watching all the high schoolers and enjoying some of the more ridiculous outfits they were wearing, listening to their horrible music, and making sure that no hanky panky or fighting was going on at the event. Since I never actually went to my own prom back in 1996, it made me glad that I decided to skip the event, since I probably would have been one of those guys who paid a few hundred bucks to go solo, and would have just stood by the wall the whole time cracking jokes with my friends. Dethklok @ The Wiltern

This concert was possibly one of the top 3 shows that I've been to of all time. The combination of Dethklok's brutal sound and the insane cartoon music videos chocked full of gore filled footage that I had never seen before nearly melted my brain (as did typing that sentence). They played for about and hour, but since I was so into it, it seemed like it was over in minutes. Unfortunately Dr. Rockso never made an appearance, and they didn't play and Snakes and Barrels songs either. Despite those 2 gripes I had, it was much more fun than I could have ever imagined it was going to be since it was a death metal show after all. If they ever play in Los Angeles again I will surely be there, and maybe next time I will remember to buy a tour shirt. I'm kind of pissed I didn't get one this time around.
