A Few Imrovements

Slowly but surely the living room remodel is moving along. We got the cottage cheese scraped off of the ceiling about 2 months ago, painted, and installed crown moulding. This weekend we finally bought some new lights and the ceiling fan just got installed this morning. We still need to touch up the paint, get new shutters, buy furniture and install new carpet so the work is far from over.

Bathroom Remodel Complete!

After almost a month of work, 3 weeks of which we had to spend living at my parents house, the new bathroom can finally be unveiled. Although its still not 100% done, it's at the fully functional level now and I can't even begin to explain how much nicer this bathroom is compared to the old one it replaced. All that's really left to do is put in a cabinet over the toilet in the new enclave we had built for us, put a little cabinet on the far side of the sink, and also maybe put up a few picture's here and there. Now why don't you scroll down and take a cyber tour of facilities...

Bathroom Remodel Update - New Wall & Tub

So here is the latest on the bathroom. The old tub has been ripped out, a new wall between the toilet and tub/ shower is being built, a hole is being made for our new medicine cabinet, and new recessed lights are being put in the ceiling in various strategic places. Also the project has been delayed a little, due to our tub being lost in transit. However, since the company we ordered it from F'd up, they upgraded our tub to a whirlpool tub that was about $500 to $1000 more and had it express shipped to us! SWEET!!! Here are some more pics of the work in progress...

Bathroom Update - Demolition Accomplished!

Phase One of the bathroom remodel is almost complete. Everything except the toilet, bathtub and linoleum floor has been torn out. Unfortunately my fiance and I are living like homeless people right now, having to travel to my parents house to shower and use the bathroom. Two weeks of this lifestyle is really going to be a chore since we are only 2 days into this, and are already sick of it BIGTIME!

Bathroom Remodel Begins Tomorrow

Just for fun i am going to post shots of how our current bathroom looks, when at its very worst. Im sure you will love the funky pink tub, the old school 70s furnishings, and the overall grimyness of it. As of tomorrow morning this bathroom will be no more. We are gutting the whole thing and are doing a complete remodel. I can't wait to see how the finished product looks, and I will post updates along the way.

Bathroom Remodel Update - More Pics

I stopped by my pad yesterday to check on the Bathroom remodel status. Looking good so far! I only snapped a few crappy pics with my cell, but basically the holes in the walls are all patched, the shower walls have been put in and waterproofed, the board has been laid down on the floor to prep for tile work, and as far as I know the entire project should be complete by mid next week! Whoohoo!
