Just got my b-ball uniform via special delivery from the Philippines. Pretty sweet. First game's on Thursday. I'm nervous. Haven't touched a basketball in 2+ months.

Airkfraft Camera
A friend that I used to work with started up a new business that films hi-def aerial footage on a remote control drone like helicopter. I went and checked it out in action the other day and it was AWESOME. Here's some footage he shot recently.

Ride 008 - Mt. Wilson Toll Road (1)
This ride is a grinder plain and simple. Expect about 2 hours of relentless climbing. I went with some friends, but unfortunately had to turn back at the single track trail junction due to time constraints. Anyway here's some pics of the ride up to the top, along with the video of what I missed out on.

Going to this show tonight. As long as I can survive the hipster onslaught and just focus on the music I should be ok.

Ride 006 - La Tuna Canyon (Loop) (2)
The lower single track at La Tuna Canyon is in as good of condition as I have ever seen it. Super hard packed tacky trails with flow for miles...

Ride 005 - Sam Merrill Trail (1)
I've hiked the lower portion of this trail about a million times, but for some reason I had never biked it. Today that all changed when we rode up to Inspiration Point, and took the Sam Merrill Trail back the entire way down. Let me just tell you... it's a MUST RIDE, but also a very technical one. Be sure to check out the videos below if you're thinking of riding this trail, it might make you think twice! Thanks for filming Jonelo!

Ride 004 - La Tuna Canyon (Firebreaks) (1)
I rode my home court ride today with a new twist that I've only recently started doing... riding down the super steep, super sketchy, super rutted out fire break portion of La Tuna. It definitely beats the monotony of riding that fire road back down (which I've done a zillion times), and gives you more of a heart pounding thrill ride. Anyway, here are some pics and a mini vid from my helmet cam.
You know my steez. A White Mojo HD all day every day!
The "Fire Break" Loop is about 6 miles.

Another Ride... Another Camera F Up!
Now I am really beginning to think that I should have bought the Go Pro Hero HD Helmet camera a few years ago rather than this one. I just can't seem to get the placing right! Anyway, here is probably the best clip from my ride at the San Juan Trail this past weekend. It's from the final portion of the ride, from the switchback mania to the parking lot. I hope you enjoy watching the trail whiz by!

Mel's Noble View
So I tried to use the Contour HD on yesterday's Noble Canyon ride, but since I hadn't used in a while, I set it up slightly too low. Unfortunately since there is no way to monitor what you're shooting with this camera, if you mess up the initial set up angle, the day's footage can be totally screwed. This is the best clip of footage we got, as seen from Mel's Helmet POV.

Ride 002 - Noble Canyon (1)
This ride has been loooooonnnnggggg overdue. And WHY exactly did I lag on doing the Noble Canyon California Epic ride again? Oh yeah... because its a 3 hour drive from LA to the trail... EACH WAY. Today however, I learned that a 3 hour drive is more than worth it, because this is one of the most fun trails I've ever bombed. See you again soon Noble Canyon!
